Nineteen of Medvedev's 21 victories have been earned on hardcourt
A comeback Medvedev claimed his first title for nearly 30 months with success over opponent Moutet in the tournament final.
The athlete, a former world number one, has had a difficult period, managing just a single victory at the major tournaments and experiencing a setback at the US Open.
The player's inconsistency on the ATP Tour - and issues with his serving in particular - caused him dropping out of the elite rankings and finally separating with long-term trainer Cervara.
Currently collaborating with his coach and Goetzke, the tennis star has steadily progressed in the past month - climaxing in a tightly fought competitive win over Frenchman Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's first championship after the Italian tournament and maiden on a hardcourt since March of 2023.
The win also indicates he has won twenty-one championships at 21 various competitions.
"It's the first time I'm at a tournament with my two daughters together, so to win a championship is particularly special," commented ranked player the champion.
"This championship is in dedication of my younger daughter her name, because the first title I got when my older daughter her name was born was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his past six title deciders, including in Halle in the past months.
The player's defensive play style and regular outbursts on the tennis court had prompted commentators to doubt if his skill to compete at the top level was concluded.
But the player has implemented adjustments in the past month, making an effort to come to the net and perform aggressively, reinforced by an enhanced service.
The champion fought back from a deficit in the first set against the challenging opponent, securing four of the concluding five exchanges to go ahead.
The pair swapped breaks in the following set before the challenger, striving for his initial tour title, took control to force a third set.
He rescued four early chances in a close third set before the champion won the break to that score to secure the win.
Appropriately, he secured the title with a shot at the net area, with Moutet incapable to manage a shot after over two and a half hours.
